Mary T. “Terri” Schanz

Mary Teresa “Terri” Schanz, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home on February 4, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born July 1, 1952, in Saginaw to the late John E. and Shirley M. Frawley.
She married David F. Schanz on September 8, 1973, in Saginaw, and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2022.
Suriving are three sons, Benjamin (Katie) Schanz, John (Katherine) Schanz and Christopher (Christine) Schanz, all of Saginaw; grandchildren, Taylor Schanz, Alexander Schanz and Lindsey Schanz, all of Saginaw; brother, Patrick (Barbara) Frawley of Lexington, South Carolina; sister, Laura Frawley of Hubbard Lake, Michigan; brother, Daniel Frawley of Foresthill, California; and close first cousin, Michael (Kathy) Giffin.
In addition to her husband of 48 years and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Frawley.
