Kathleen J. Andrews, our dear kind-hearted sister, daughter, and aunt passed away at Covenant-Cooper on March 19, 2026 at the age of 70 years. She was born on October 15, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Richard Glowacki and Carolyn (Roberts) Hajos. She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1974. She married Patrick Andrews on October 5, 1980 in California, and he predeceased her in 1981. Eventually she met Marty Ruiz and they spent 15 years together in New York before he predeceased her in 2008. She then returned to Michigan to be near her family. Kathy enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, a good book, a good movie, cooking and most of all her kitties.
Surviving are her sisters and brother, Barbara Pump, Margaret (Richard) Rice, Patricia Packard, and Jason Glowacki; stepmother, Darlene Glowacki; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, husband, and significant other, she was predeceased by her son, Chad Andrews and brother-in-law, Jack Pump.
