Obituary of Ranee Noal Gray

Ranee Noal (Sella) Gray, age 66, of Kawkawlin, peacefully went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2025, after a courageous six-month battle with cancer.

Ranee was born in Bay City, Michigan, on May 14, 1958. She met her husband, best friend, and eternal love, Ken Gray, while working at Steering Gear in Saginaw. The two were married for 39 years and built a life full of love, joy, and shared passions. Together, they enjoyed life on the farm they created, surrounded by horses, dogs, and cats. Ranee’s favorite place was Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island, Florida, where she and Ken spent their retirement winters, creating cherished memories.

Ranee is survived by her devoted husband, Ken Gray; her loving mother, Delorise Bohn; son Shaun Nimtz (Karen); daughter Shannon (Nimtz) Knapp (Rob); brother Steven Sella (Lori); sister Cindy (Sella) Southgate (Lynn); and her three beloved grandchildren, Alana Knapp, Gavin Nimtz, and Aubrey Nimtz. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Sella.

A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and compassionate friend, Ranee had a heart that was as vast as the love she shared with others. Her kindness, generosity, and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
