Obituary of Rodger Dale Underwood

Rodger Dale Underwood “Dale” went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2025, after a 12 year battle against the effects of a stroke.

Dale was born in beautiful Greenbriar County, West Virginia on July 29, 1950.  After the death of his parents, he moved to Michigan with his siblings as a youngster.  He married his childhood sweetheart, they raised 2 children together, and shared nearly 57 years loving each other.

He was a GM retiree, loved working on cars and could build, repair, or fix anything...as long as Diana was providing quality control.  Dale was a huge Wolverine football fan, loved animals, had a great sense of humor, the best laugh, and the biggest, softest, kindest heart.

Dale is survived by his wife, Diana (Stewart), daughter Lori (Brian) Burford, brother Jack Underwood, brother-in-law Jerry Stewart, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and caregivers.
