Cheryl passed away peacefully at Covenant Hospital on 2-11-2025. She was born on 4-23-1956 to Roland Rivett and the late Barbara (Baker) Burns. She loved spending time with her family, friends and her puppy Anna. Cheryl enjoyed and found peace watching and feeding the wild life animals such as deer, squirrels, and birds while she played poker, drank her Diet Pepsi and ate her "gummies". She had a very beautiful, outgoing and bubbly personality which had a way of making people smile. Cheryl is survived by: her father Roland (Lois) Rivett; Daughter: Jennifer (Langley) Marrero; Son: Gary Langley, Jr; Siblings: Roland (Sherry) Rivett, William Rivett, Cindy (Rivett) Warner; Step siblings: Cheryl (Ron) Modin, William (Tracy) Baker; Grandchildren: Moses (Cassie) Marrero, David Marrero (Tayha), Joseph Marrero (Caylin), Jalynn Langley (Paul), Gary Langley (Amelia), Nevaeh Langley, William Langley (Mea), Logan Langley, Fayth Langley; Nieces/Nephews: Chantelle (Rivett) Horenziak, William Rivett, Bryan (Rebecca) Taylor, Krysti (Jeremy) Peters, Ricky (Heather) Haller, Matthew Haller (Jackie), and Lukasz Warner. She is survived by several great-grandchildren and several great nieces and nephews whom she loved with all of her heart. She leaves behind her friend and companion Melvin and Digger whom she adored. Cheryl was predeceased by her mother Barbara (Baker) Burns; Step-father Bud Burns; Aunt Beverly (Baker) Peak, and her furry companion Teddy. Special thank you to Great Lakes PACE for all they did for Cheryl. She loved PACE and she expressed her gratitude on several occasions on how much PACE made a difference in her life. Per Cheryl's wishes cremation has taken place and no memorial services will be provided at this time. However, immediate family will have a celebration of her life at a later time.
