Born on January 13, 1942, in Kawkawlin, Michigan, Ed's life was characterized by his kind nature, boundless generosity, and a heart of gold that touched everyone he met.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Mary M. Gunther, with whom he shared a life full of love and cherished moments. He was a devoted father to his children, Walter L. Barringer, Candra S. Gunther, and Kevin L. Barringer, and a doting grandfather who took great joy in his grandchildren's lives. His caring spirit extended to his brother and sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Throughout his life, Ed was known for his commitment to his work. He took great pride in his classic '67 Cornet, which he meticulously cared for. He loved going to car shows. His passion for vintage automobiles was a significant part of his life and brought him much happiness.
