Obituary of Terry Alan Behrend

Terry “Doc” Behrend, age 78, of West Branch Michigan, was called home on March 2, 2025.  Terry was born November 8, 1946 in Cleveland Ohio to the late Franklin and Marilyn (Pillow) Behrend.  He was a 1964 Graduate of Carmen High School, Flint Michigan and served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years.  Terry practiced medicine at Tolfree Memorial Hospital in West Branch MI for 31 years.

Surviving is his wife, Laura (Morton) Behrend; two sons, Terry & George Behrend; two step-sons, Scott and Kyle Saunders; and brother, Roger and wife Laura (Anderson) Behrend; and eight grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Terry enjoyed gardening, fishing, golfing, and camping.

A  Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 12pm - 4pm, at Ogemaw  Township Hall, 1990 S. Gray Rd., West Branch; with a Military  Burial, Friday, March 28, 2025, at 12:30 pm, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly Michigan.
