Obituary of Inge Deborah Walny

Inge Deborah Walny, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 85. The daughter of late Robert and Elfriede Sprenger (Groenig) Deborah was born on May 26, 1939, in Hamburg, Germany. She married William F. Walny on July 26, 1958, and he preceded her in death. Deborah was a dedicated housewife, later taking on a part-time job at a pet store due to her love of all animals. She would take in strays, and feed the wild animals that lived in the woods behind her home. She even nursed a baby crow and squirrel back to health, only to release them back into the wild. Her most cherished time was taking daily walks through the woods with her faithful furry friends, her dog Buddy and cat Molly.   

She and William had four children, William F. Walny Jr. (deceased), Kenneth W. Walny of Columbiaville, Michigan, Nick A. Walny of Clinton Township, Michigan, and James M. Walny (Dawn) of Hemlock, Michigan. They were blessed with eight grandchildren, Holly, Jason, Rachel, Kyle, Justin, Clint, Jacob, and Adam; and great-grandchildren, Aubree, Connor and Autumn.
