Obituary of Michael Dewey Cosens

Michael D. Cosens, age 69, of Sanford Michigan, passed away March 16,2025. He was born February 8,1956 in Petoskey Michigan, and grew up in Sanford.  He graduated from Meridian High School in 1974, and in 1975 he joined the U. S. Navy where he served our country until 1979.

Michael leaves behind a son, Kevin Cosens (Alison Bufarale); Yvonne Kittle, his girlfriend of 33 years, and Tory & Mary Kittle, and Yolanda Kittle; grandchildren, Katherine & TJ Gary, Logan Smith, Tana Kittle & Vince Gohs, Natalia, Camdyn,& Orin Kittle, Heavenly Struthers, Arianne, Kayden and Rebecca (Bufarale) Okerblom; a sister. Theresa Bolton; two nieces; a nephew; and a great-niece.  Michael was predeceased by his parents, Norman & Eleanor Cosens; a brother, Phillip; and a niece, Taylor Cosens.
