Obituary of Lynn Theresa Jones

Lynn Theresa (Martz) Jones, born October 21, 1957, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, at the age of 67. A resident of Rhodes, Michigan, and formerly of Highland, Michigan.

Lynn had a deep love for the outdoors, finding joy in hunting, fishing, and birdwatching. Nature was her sanctuary, and she cherished every moment spent surrounded by it. She was a dedicated server in Midland for over twenty years, becoming a community favorite for her quick wit, warm heart, and ability to connect with everyone she met.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeannine (Wayne) Schumacher, Mary Obertein, Jodie Hall, and Tara Ringgold; her cherished granddaughter, Sophia Dashkovitz; and her siblings, Kurt (Lynn) Martz, Brett Martz Jr., Kristen (Harvey) Elam, and Gretchen (Patrick) Greenwood.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, William Jones; her daughter, Sarah Hall; her granddaughter, Samantha; her parents, Brett and Denise Martz; and her brother, Michael Martz.
