Noel Graham, Jr.

Obituary of Noel Banford Graham, Jr.

Noel "Rusty" Banford Graham Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, in Saginaw, MI, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on January 24, 1963, in Minot, ND, to Julia Graham and the late Noel Graham Sr. of Versailles, KY. Rusty was a man whose warmth and jovial spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Rusty's life was a testament to the values of hard work, devotion to family, and the simple joys of life. For many years, he traveled the roads as a respected truck driver, a career that suited his love for adventure and the open road. His colleagues knew him as a man of integrity and good humor, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.

Away from work, Rusty was happiest when surrounded by his beloved family. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Angela Graham, with whom he shared a loving and supportive partnership. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Dustin Hitsman (Fiancee, Britney), Kira Graham, and Cody Graham. His role as a father was one he cherished most, guiding his children with a gentle hand and an open heart. Rusty's role as Papaw to Charlotte Faye Hitsman was one of his greatest delights, and he cherished every moment spent with her. Rusty was also a beloved son to his mother, Julia Graham, and a dear brother to Michael (Michelle) Graham. A loving uncle to his nephew Michael and niece Samantha. His in-laws, Sue Cheney, and Nelson (Sam) Cheney Jr., along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends will fondly remember Rusty as a wonderful addition to their family.

Rusty's passions extended beyond the walls of his home. His love for dogs was unparalleled, and he shared countless happy moments with his three furry companions, Pandora "The Phatt Chick," Dobby, and Tucker. His face would light up at the mention of grilling and smoking meat, a hobby that not only satisfied his culinary interests but also brought family and friends together over delicious meals. An avid fisherman, Rusty found solace and joy in the tranquility of nature. Family vacations were another highlight of Rusty's life, creating memories that would become cherished stories recounted at family gatherings.

Per the wishes of Rusty, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Foundation or directly to the family.

Rusty's legacy is one of laughter, love, and the enduring bonds of family. He approached life with a heart full of generosity and a spirit that could not be dampened. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and the memories he created will continue to bring smiles to the faces of his loved ones. His story does not end here, for Rusty's spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched, in the laughter of his children, and in the quiet moments when we feel the warmth of his presence still with us.
