Obituary of Donald Ezra George
Donald Ezra George of Ovid, passed away on April 15, 2025 at his home. Don served his Country in the Army where he was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Middlebury United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee for many years as well as in other capacities.
He was born August 11, 1935 at Chapin Michigan. Don married Elizebeth Wicke on October 5, 1957.
Don was one of seven children of Carl and Wilma George. He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law John and Pansy Wickie, wife Betty, brothers Robert Harmon (Dorothy) Carl George, David George, Alan George (Connie) and Sister Judith Eldridge. He is survived by his 4 sons; Mark George (Jeanne), Jeff George (Patty), Paul George (Kim) and Dale George (Laverta). Sister Ruth Whaley (David), Sister-in-laws Margaret George and Patti George. Grandchildren Emily, Jonathan, Brandy, Beverly, Brittany, Brandi, Cody, Amanda, one Great Grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Don graduated from Chesaning High School in 1955 and went straight to work for GM as an electrician. He retired to his farm in Middlebury where he did what he enjoyed best.
