
Obituary of Janice Kathryn Coplin
Janice “Jan” Coplin, of Essexville Michigan, and formerly of Saginaw Michigan, passed away April 25, 2025. She was born August 2, 1932 to the late Alexander and Ann Debniak. She enjoyed spending her winters in Arizona, traveling to 27 countries, entertaining, fishing, and hunting. She also enjoyed her shot of brandy and an occasional Martini. She was also a retiree of the Unemployment Office.
She is survived by her son, Craig (Debbie) Coplin of Pinconning; daughter, Pam (Dennis) Hart of Kalamazoo MI; a granddaughter, Elizabeth (Laird) Walker of Kalamazoo; and two great-granddaughters, Nella and Noemie. She was predeceased by her sister, Jacquelyn “Jake” DeBeau; and her brother, William”(Bill” Debniak.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Saginaw, Bay City, or Flint.
