Obituary of Richard Edgar Ewing

Richard "Rick" Edgar Ewing Jr.

Richard, age 67, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on May 3, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1957 to Richard & Jenetta Ewing in Owosso, MI. He loved the outdoors & especially loved fishing.  He loved riding his motorcycle for many years & his grandkids loved getting rides from him around the yard on his Harley.  He also loved spending time with his family & friends & his dog, Cooper. 

Rick is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kristy, daughters Kelly (Mike) Wilson & Jenny (Ryan) Houle, & son Aaron Ewing, grandchildren Zach (Jostyn) Wilson, Lillian (Jon) Muzzi, Jordan Wilson, Lucas Wilson, Ray Houle, Eli Houle & Hannah Houle & great-grandchildren Owen, Hezekiah & Vincenzo Muzzi & Johnathan Wilson.  He is also survived by his mother Jenetta Ewing, mother-in-law Pat Augustine, siblings Beckie (Terry) Bower, Cindy Patterson, Mike (Laura) Ewing, sister-in-law Karie Huntley, Kathy Elson & Katie (Randy) Richardson, brother-in-law Mike (Kim) Augustine & many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. 

He was predeceased by his father Richard Ewing Sr., brother Gerry Ewing & father-in-law Don Augustine.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 2680 E. M-21, Corunna, MI 48817 at 2 pm.
