Richard James Seifferly “Rick”

1963-2025

Rick was born August 13,1963 in Bay City to James and Nora Seifferly, and passed away May 2, 2025 at age 61, after a short illness. 

He worked in various construction jobs and currently was the companion/caregiver for his mother for the past 8 years.

Rick was skilled and handy in many ways, including home improvements of any kind, concrete installation, building small projects and sharing his expertise with others in “The Rick Way”.  He was especially skilled with vehicles and small engines. His organizational skills were outstanding, with never a tool or piece of equipment out of place, and he loved adding lights to everything he could. He enjoyed making memories with his son, Jake, his childhood friends: Dave Asman and Jerry French and others - hunting, fishing, riding snowmobiles and motorcycles, fixing and detailing vehicles, watching football, and more. 

Rick is survived by his son: Jake Seifferly; his mother: Nora Seifferly; siblings: Jeffrey (Aileen) Seifferly, Debra (Robert) Martens, and Robert Seifferly; 11 nieces, nephews and spouses; 4 great nephews.

He was predeceased by his father: James Seifferly and his sister-in-law: Jennifer Seifferly.
