Linda Horn

Obituary of Linda Mae Horn

Linda Mae Horn, Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 6, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on April 2, 1943, in Mt. Clements, MI, she was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Ida Mae (Brabo) Darnell.

Linda's life was a testament to love and dedication, beautifully exemplified in her marriage to Eugene Horn on February 23, 1963. Together, they built a family that included their sons, Mark (Amy), Joel, Craig (Kim), and their daughter, Darcie Straub. Her brother, Richard Herman, also held a special place in her heart.

A proud graduate of Holy Family High School in Saginaw, MI, Linda's zest for life was contagious. Her interests were as colorful as the seasons she loved to decorate for, including shopping sprees, visits to the casino, and cherished winter escapes to warmer climates. Family gatherings were the highlight of her life, bringing joy and laughter to all who attended.

Linda's legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Mark Jr., Ethan, Joshua, Emily, Heath, Daniel, Lacey, and Sutton, and her great-granddaughter, Alaska, who brought immense joy to her later years.

A celebration of Linda's life, filled with memories and honor, is planned for July 2025. Her spirit, forever etched in the hearts of her family and many dear friends, will be remembered with love and smiles. Cremation has taken place, as per her wishes. Linda Mae Horn's life was a journey of love, laughter, and beauty, and she will be profoundly missed.  To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com  Arrangements made with the Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
