Obituary of Ronald Allan Lange
Ronald A. Lange of Port Austin, Michigan passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025 at the age of 82 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Madison, WI and raised in Oregon, WI. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Ron found happiness in the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, and boating. He enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, and was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions, Tigers, as well as the University of Michigan.
Ron is survived by his wife of sixty years, Patricia; his children Jennifer (Joseph) Szalay and Burke (Amy) Lange; six grandchildren, Joel (Stephanie), Sara (David), Rachel, Seth, India, and Enzo; and four great-grandchildren, Oden, Alice, Nora, and Joey. Ron was the beloved brother of Marilyn, Gordon (Sonia), and Joyce (Arlon). He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Clyde.
His absence will be deeply felt, and the memories he leaves behind will continue to be held dear by those who knew and loved him.
In honor of his wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service at this time.
