Marvin Frederick Kuch

    “Grandpa Kuch” 

Dad, grandpa, brother, and friend passed away at his home May 12, 2025 at the age of 87.  He was born to Arthur and Erna (Sturm) Kuch on July 13, 1937.

He retired from GM, many years ago, after working for 51 yrs.  He had 2 great friends - Neva Spires and Wanda Zsidi. Dad was lost without them.  They kept him going at a time in his life when he needed them most.

He leaves behind a large family.  He had 7 children - Rhoda and Paul Schlief, Rebecca and Robert Mularz, Elliott and Lynn Kuch, Frederick Kuch, Roxanne and Rick Haney, Rachel and Jeff Nielsen, and Melvin and Diane Kuch.

He loved his family, but had a special place in his heart for those grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He loved watching them ....Watch out for those Grandpa Kuch hugs....

With all these children, he also had 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great- great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his grandchildren, Brandon Schlief and Tiffany Schlief.

He also leaves behind his a brother, Dale Kuch; three sisters, Janet (Terry) Bigda, Linda (Lee) Dreyer, and Sally Raynak; cousins; and other family members. Also predeceasing him were 2 brothers, James Kuch and Bill Kuch.

Special thanks to the amazing people that helped care for our dad. We could not have done this without them - Blair, Jadyn, Carrie, Becky, Nichole, and Amanda.

Special thanks to the Care Team Hospice. What an amazing team! Their love and support was amazing!

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., May 20, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Auburn, 4853 Garfield Rd., Auburn MI 48611.
