Obituary of Teresita Marie Rottiers

Teresita "Terry" M. Rottiers
Frankenmuth, Michigan

Passed away at the age of 95 years on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Winter Village of Frankenmuth.  Terry was born on December 11, 1929, to the late John Joseph and Catherine (Jacobs) Kalahar, in Merrill, Michigan.  She married Robert "Bob" Rottiers on May 2, 1953.  He predeceased her on July 10, 2002. She was a member of Ss. Francis and Clare Catholic Church in Birch Run, and enjoyed reading and Hallmark movies.

She is survived by three children, Sharon (Rollie) Kanine, Timothy (Mary) Rottiers of Birch Run, and David (Dianna) Rottiers of Hudsonville, Michigan.  She also leaves seven grandchildren, Michael (Tonya) Kanine, James (Jenn) Kanine, Brian (Bobbie) Rottiers, Michelle Rottiers, Chelsea (Amirhessam) Salehpour, Brandon (Whitney) Rottiers, and Mallory Rottiers; along with nine great-grandchildren, Joshua, Isabella, Elleanor, William and Henry Kanine, Riley, Poppy and Sadie Rottiers, and Sienna Salehpour. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Doris Kalahar and Ursula Rottiers. Terry was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Edward, Bernard and Jack Kalahar.

Cremation has taken place, and a funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Ss. Francis and Clare Catholic Church, 12157 Church St., Birch Run MI.  Fr. David J. Jenuwine will officiate.  Friends may visit with the family at Ss.
