Obituary of Joan Frances Neal

In loving memory of Mrs. Joan F. Kraatz Neal, age 93 who passed away on June 16, 2025, following a fall at home.

 

Joan was born in Bay City, MI to the late William and Frances Kraatz on June 16, 1932.

 

She is survived by her husband Alvin Andrews who she married on July 22, 1992. They spent many years traveling in their motor home to visit family and friends and wintered in Florida for several years. Joan loved line dancing with friends, chair yoga classes and enjoyed the many friendships made over the years as a cancer support participant.

 

Also surviving are her children, Stephanie (Greg) Karbowski of Holland, MI. Karen (Al) Satkowiak of Auburn, IN, Marcia (Bill) Mulder of Boise, ID and Barry Neal of Bay City, MI. Others surviving Joan are her six grandchildren, Kelsey (Mike) Zaryczny, Kristen Karbowski, Jason (Sarah) Satkowiak, Megan (Steve) Rowlison, Christine Mulder, Monica Mulder, four great grandchildren, a sister, Shirley Malone of Decatur, AL, her loving niece and nephews, dear cousin, Norma Deshano and extended family.

 

She was predeceased by a son, Craig Neal, her former husband, William Neal, sister, Lorraine Luptowski, brother in-law, John Luptowski and brother in-law, Wayne Malone.
