Obituary of Larry Philip Card

Larry P. Card, 71, passed away June 16, 2025, after a long illness. He was born on May 10, 1954, at Midland Hospital to the late Robert E. and Aletha M. (Carrigan) Card.

 

He enjoyed nature, gardening, bird watching, fishing, hunting, and drawing pictures. He was a member of the Gladwin SDA Church and a Union Pipe Fitter, Local 85.

 

He is survived by a son, Joshua Card, and daughter Amy (Chad) Newman and 3 grandsons. Siblings: Ilene Meehan, James (Diana) Card, Galen (Mary) Card, Cheryl (James) Simonds, Kathy Card, brother-in-law Mark Clayton as well as many nieces and nephews. 

 

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dennis Card, Richard Card, and Vicky Clayton. He was also predeceased by his sister-in-law, Sherin Card and brother-in-law, Timothy Meehan.

 

Per Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
