Obituary of Barbara Diane Edes

Barb Edes was born March 6, 1954. She was the youngest of four children, two girls and two boys. She was born in Windber Pennsylvania. She moved to San Diego after high school around 1971 and lived with her brother David who stayed there after getting out of the Navy. In 1977 she married Bill Edes. They moved to Midland in 1980 after he got out of service and she fell in love with the town. She went to work for Midland public schools. After 17 years, she had to take a medical retirement for health reasons, but she never lost her zest for life. She loved to travel, and she loved animals so their house was always full of pets, and she would take trips whenever possible. She loved Tuesday movie days with a small group of retirees from the Midland post office, where her husband had worked. The last few years being the last in her family, she just lived a simple home life and enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel. She will be fondly remembered by all those that knew her.
