Cindy A. Spencer, age 62, of Beaverton passed away on July 6, 2025 at home. The daughter of the late Richard and Adeline (Shocknesse) Gillette, was born May 28, 1963 in Lansing, Michigan, but raised in Coleman Michigan.

Cindy married Eugene Spencer on September 20, 1990. She was most recently employed as the manager of The Country Store in Coleman. She was a member of the Sanford Eagles Auxiliary. She was involved in The National Association of the Physical Handicapped and a member of the Mid-Michigan Chapter. Cindy is most remembered for time in service as an Army National Guard for 20+ years.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Eugene Spencer; son, Micheal (Bonnie) Gillette of Coleman; daughter, Mary Gillette-Spencer (Donald) of Coleman; granddaughters Desiree Moore of Beaverton, Leah Colmus of Coleman and Lilliana Colmus of Coleman; brothers, Kenneth Gillette of Midland and Roderick Gillette of Coleman; sisters, Phyllis Daniels of Coleman and Vickie (Grant) Marcoux of Lake. Cindy was predeceased by her brother, Richard Dale Gillette, Jr.; sisters, Joann Gillette, Ramona Gillette, and Collen Gillette; and parents, Richard and Adeline Gillette.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
