Obituary of Myrtle Gertrude Turbett

Myrtle "Mert" Turbett, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at her home in Saginaw, Michigan. Born on January 12, 1934, in Plato, Minnesota, the daughter of Arthur and Dorothea Sprengeler.
 
Mert married Lee Turbett, on February 9, 1957.

She is survived by her children: Jeffrey Turbett and his wife Lisa, Jon Turbett, and Jennifer Turbett. Mert was predeceased by her husband Lee, and son James Turbett. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandsons, Jeffrey Turbett II and Joseph Turbett.

A devout Christian, Mert was a long-time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Mert was an avid card player - her skill and playful competitiveness made her a fun partner at the card table. Ceramics was another of Mert's passions, through which she created countless treasures for her family and friends. She also enjoyed boating, traveling, reading, a good happy hour, and spending time with her loved ones.  

As per her wishes, there will be no funeral.  She loved to have a good time, so celebrate her life in your own way and time.
