Obituary of David Anthony Olvera

David A. Olvera, age 79, of Fairgrove, Michigan, passed away on August 14, 2025 surrounded by family. Born in Bay City on June 13, 1946 to the late Pedro C. Olvera and Carmen Lopez, Dave proudly retired after 38 years at General Motors and was a member of UAW Local 699.

He married his fishing partner and the catch of his life, Nora (Davilla) Olvera, with whom he shared 27 wonderful years. Dave loved fishing for walleye, riding his motorcycle, and enjoying time with friends over a Budweiser. Above all, he was a proud and loving grandpa whose step-grandchildren were the light of his life.
