Obituary of William Leroy Witkop
My father was a wonderful human. He is survived by a loving family who will miss him for years to come.
Dad, has, a faith grounded on the reality explained by the Bible. It is Dad's wish that everyone will take the time to get to know our loving God Jehovah. Jehovah loves his earthly children so much. He has provided a way out from under Satan’s wicked system. It is real. It has an ironclad guarantee. Dad was absolutely certain of Jehovah’s promise. To the point that death did not cause him any anxiety. He welcomed it. Because he knew that in the blink of HIS eye. He would see the realization of Jehovah’s promise.
During the morning on the day of his passing. He expressed to me the sure hope of his waking up in a paradise Earth, free of pain, able to see, able to hear, able to chase mom down the trails on Isle Royal. And this time when they round a corner on the trail, The giant moose can be approached and petted, and fed a treat. Instead of having to back away in fear.
He wants all who knew him to work toward that reality. As a Bible writer said. If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. Jehovah will nudge Dad, call to him, Bill, Bill, It’s time to wake up. You have slept long enough. And Jehovah will enjoy giving the gift of life back to Dad. Dad will stir, and say. Goodness, what time is it? How long did I sleep? Thank You Jehovah.
Each and every time this happens, until the graves are all empty. We can praise the greatest God ever for his love and concern. Jehovah is worthy of our praise.
