Obituary of Thomas Gerald Klocinski

Thomas Tom” Klocinski passed away at his home in Elkton Michigan with his wife by his side after a long battle of cancer on August 20, 2025. He was born on March 10, 1955, In Toledo Ohio to Pete and Irene Klocinski, whom he has joined in Heaven.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife Darlene, and loved music and playing the guitar.  He loved being with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, and took many long walks when he was able.  In addition, Tom is a U. S. Veteran, spending 13 years in Germany working for the Army.

 He is survived by his wife, Darlene; three beloved sisters, Jane, Barbara and Cindy. Tom was very close to his sisters, Jane and Cindy who live in Toledo Ohio, and Barbara who lives in California.  He is also survived by his children, Christina  who lives in Germany,  his son, Michael and his wife Amber Kleekamp;  two grandsons, James and Christopher; his daughter, Kimberly and husband Jake Kidd; grandson R.J; granddaughter, Charleigh; and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.

 A celebration of life was held at Tony Packos in Toledo Ohio with all of his family.  He called it his wake before he died because everyone was there and they brought many happy memories with them to share. He loved seeing his family who came from as far away as Washington State and Cincinnati Ohio. Tom was an amazing guy, always fun, hilarious, the best jokester, and a loving family man.

He will be laid to rest with his parents in Toledo Ohio at a later date.
