Patricia "P.K." Dooley
Also known as “Chi-Chi”
April 18, 1938 – August 21, 2025

Patricia “P.K.” Dooley, affectionately known as “Chi-Chi,” passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the age of 87.

Born on April 18, 1938, she was the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy (Gottschalk) Rocha and William D.P. Dooley. Chi-Chi was the most passionate person many had the privilege to know. A lifelong seeker of knowledge, a fierce protector, and someone who embraced all things magical, she nurtured those around her with a rare and powerful love.

As a dedicated nurse, Patricia cared deeply for her patients, just as she did for her family and friends. She was the rock of her family—always standing strong through life’s storms. She was known for having the mouth of a sailor, balanced perfectly by a heart of pure gold.

Chi-Chi loved crocheting, knitting, classical music, and Coca-Cola (NEVER Pepsi). She had an eye for a great bargain, a love for a spirited debate, and a sharp mind that never backed down from a challenge.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Fobear; cherished granddaughters, Meaghan (Zachary) Martuch and Leah Howell; and her adored great-grandsons, Evan Dorsey-Curtis, Miles Martuch, and Dylan Martuch. 

Chi-Chi leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and wisdom. Her generous, fiery spirit and unyielding devotion touched all who knew her—and will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, September 10th from 4 to 7 PM at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 2501 Tittabawassee Rd., Saginaw, MI. Please join us for drinks, light appetizers, and shared memories.
