Obituary of Patsy Ann Pettipas
Patsy A. (Sweebe) Pettipas, age 91 of Midland passed away August 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Patsy was born on August 11, 1934, to the late Elmer and Ernesteen (Ohlrogge) Sweebe, in Sanford, Michigan.
On November 14, 1991, she married Ronald Pettipas and enjoyed 26 years of marriage before Ron’s passing on June 29, 2018. Patsy worked numerous jobs, but her greatest joy was her family and home. She was an avid quilter making quilts for all family members and friends.
Patsy is survived by her daughters from her first marriage to Robert L. Stevens, Suzan (David) Clark of Midland, Ann (Karl) Kwast of Midland, Mary (Gerald) Fish of Saginaw; step-daughter, Donna (Elgin) Hess of Sanford, step-son, Scott (Cathy) Pettipas of Midland; grand children, Kevin (Alilyn) Sanford, Joel Hensel, Carly Owens, Carson (Julie Battle), Sara (Scott) Morrisette, Ryan (Britnee) Pettipas, and Aaron (Jessica) Pettipas; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Cheyenne Sanford, McKenzie, Jackson, and Maylaya Hensel, Ella Owens, Graham, Will, and Reid Morrisette, Lucas and Olivia Pettipas, and Dylan Pettipas; brothers, Theodore (Elaine) Sweebe of Midland and Michael Sweebe of Sanford.
