Obituary of Angeline Mary Nash
Angeline Mary (Karwat) Nash
April 27, 1932 – August 30, 2025
Angeline “Angie” Mary Nash, age 93, of Oakley, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. Born on April 27, 1932, in St. Charles, Michigan, Angie was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Karwat. She began her schooling in St. Charles and graduated from Chesaning High School.
In 1952, Angie married Nathan James Nash. Together they built a home filled with faith, love, and family. She worked diligently as a postal worker, but her greatest joy was caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many relatives and friends whose lives she touched.
Angie is survived by her children, Debra and Larry Neumann, Denise Nash, David Nash, Douglas Nash, and Deidre and Rich Hafner; 10 grandchildren (three of whom preceded her in death); and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Proud of her Polish heritage, Angie brought joy to many through her love of polka dancing and music. She had a gift for welcoming others—whether in Michigan or Florida—where she graciously opened her home to gatherings filled with laughter, food, and togetherness. She enjoyed canning each fall, cooking for her loved ones, and never turned down a lively game of dice, cards, or bingo. Above all, Angie cherished life’s simple beauty, especially her beloved sunsets. She will be remembered as a hardworking, loving, and spirited woman whose warmth and hospitality will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
