Obituary of Leah Mae Dahlman

Leah Mae Dahlman, age 43, of Bay City, formerly of Bad Axe, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2025. She was born on December 1, 1981, in Harbor Beach, Michigan.

Leah’s greatest joy and deepest pride was her son, Connor Crump. He was the center of her world and the heart of her every adventure. Whether they were fishing together or on spontaneous outings, Leah cherished every moment spent with him. Her love for Connor was boundless and unwavering.

She is survived by her beloved son, Connor; her mother, Diane Dahlman; father, Bill Dahlman; sister, Sarah Gilray(Rob Warchuck); brothers, Ryan (Cherie Andrich) Dahlman, Derek (Jessica) Dahlman, and Matt Gorkowski. Leah shared a special bond with her niece Natalie Rose, whom she held especially close in her heart. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Gavin, Hunter, Kinsley, Everly, and Riley—all of whom she loved dearly.

Leah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Irvin and Charlotte Sommers; and Raymond and Dorothy Dahlman.

Leah found peace and happiness in nature. She loved being outside—camping, being in the sunshine, or simply enjoying the fresh air with Connor by her side—these were the moments that defined Leah’s happiest days.

In accordance with Leah’s wishes, cremation will take place. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
