Willard III passed away September 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. Willard was born on February 1, 1962 on base in Munich, Germany, to the late Lt. Col. Willard Jr. and Nancy (nee Fisher) Dixon. Willard spent most of his early life and adulthood in Royal Oak, Michigan, before moving to Gladwin in 2013. He was a talented chef, fireworks enthusiast, and proud party animal. He is survived by his children, Willard IV aka Wade, and Emily; and former wife, Lori. A celebration of life will take place in Gladwin on July 11, 2026. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Hospice of Gladwin Area.
