Obituary of Wanda Mae Blitz

Wanda Blitz, age 83, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025 in Lapeer, Michigan. Born on March 7, 1942, in Ferndale, Michigan, Wanda's remarkable journey through life was marked by her deep-rooted faith, and an unrelenting zest for living each day to its fullest.

Wanda is survived by her sons, Scott, Jeff and his wife Jennifer, Greg, and C. Michael. Grandchildren Bryon and his wife Allison, Breanne, Madison, Erika, Ryleigh, Michael and his wife Heather and Erving.  Wanda's joy was multiplied with the birth of her great-granddaughter, Audrey.

Every Sunday, without fail, one could find Wanda at her beloved church where she drew strength and solace from her faith. This devotion was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and spreading hope to those around her. Wanda's belief in the power of prayer touched all aspects of her life, making her a source of comfort and inspiration to her community.
