Obituary of Sandra Ann Davis

Sandra "Sandy" Ann Davis, age 74, passed away on September 26, 2025 with her daughter by her side, in her hometown of Bay City, Michigan. The oldest child of the late Walter R. Urbaniak and Reta M. (Bladecki) Urbaniak, she was born on January 5, 1951. 

Sandy's life was filled with love, kindness, and selfless devotion to her family. With a gentle spirit and generous nature, she found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her presence at family gatherings – whether celebrating holidays, birthdays, summers by the pool, game nights, or hosting her nephews/nieces and daughter's friends – was a highlight for many. Sandy's laughter and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to be part of these cherished moments. In her younger years, she also loved golf and bowling.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Amanda Trombley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan (Kevin) Treadway, Linda (Dan) Strzelecki, and Jodie (Jim) Kazmierski; nephews and nieces, Ryan (Kristin) Lothian, Brad (Joy) Lothian, Sara (Brad) Ervans, Brian (Kristi) Strzelecki, and Rachel (Charlie) Zieserl; great-nephews and nieces, Kailyn (Mark) Pero, Lauren and Mason Lothian, Tayte and Cambria Lothian, Tucker and Cameron Ervans, Adalynne and Kylee Strzelecki, and Sydney and Sasha Zieserl; dear friend and neighbor, Steve Nowicki. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she in theirs. She was predeceased by her parents, and husband, Curtis Davis.

The void left by Sandy's departure from this world is immeasurable, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She was a treasure to her family, and a kind soul to all.

Funeral service will take place at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Corpus Christi Parish, 1000 S. Wenona Ave., Bay City, MI 48706.
