Gerald Clifford McDougall passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on October 1, 2025. He was born on January 27, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late LaVern “Bun” and Joan McDougall. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Evangelical Church in Oakley. He enjoyed woodworking, coloring, and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife Connie McDougall; children Rachel (Danny) McDougall, Josh McDougall, Jeff (Lisa) McDougall, and Amy (Wade) Goward; grandchildren Kingsland (Brandon) Fall, Levi (Cheyann), Weston (Sam), and Julianna Wendling, Jordan, Ella, and Aurora Goward; great-grandchildren Hudson Fall, Cass and Corbin Wendling; siblings Floyd (Deb), Jim (Cindy) McDougall, Lois (Dave) Tiesworth, Linda (Dale) Blackmer, Lori (Brad) Blakeslee, and Brenda (Hal) Lehman; brother & sister-in-laws Jim (Marilyn), and Julie Reynolds, and many much loved nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father LaVern McDougall; granddaughter Laklee Wendling; brother-in-law Chris Reynolds.

A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on October 6, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Evangelical Church. Pastor Jacob Reich will officiate.
