George, age 94 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on October 4, 2025.  He was born on August 10, 1931, to the late Henry Martin Syer and Jean Delores Josie in Detroit, Michigan.  

George is survived by his wife of 58 years, Theresa Bialy Syer; his daughters, Karen Sutherland and Laura Mangan-Currin (Michael); sons, George Syer Jr. (Denise) and Douglas Sadler (Patti); brother, John Grab (Dianna); daughter-in-law, Julie Sadler; and many nieces, nephews, grandkids and great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Syer and Jean Josie Syer Graham; daughters, Susan J. Charette and Linda D. Syer; and son, Mark R. Sadler.

George fought a hard battle and made all his decisions and plans on his exit into eternal life.  He was courageous and strong right up to the end.
