Obituary of Donald Lester Boyd

 Donald "Don" Lester Boyd, age 67 of St. Charles, Michigan formerly of Lansing, Michigan passed away peacefully at the Hospice House of Shiawassee County on Monday October 13th 2025 after a long battle with bladder cancer.  Born November 11,1957, Veterans Day to Mancell and Wava Boyd Sr. of Elsie, Michigan. Don was very proud to have been born on Veterans Day.

 Don spent his childhood in Elsie, Michigan later moving to Chesaning, Michigan his freshman year of high school. Lastly settling in Lansing, Michigan.  Don was a jack of all trades, there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He worked in pest control, managed apartment complexes and was very talented at wood working.  Don loved his daughters dearly.  He was also an avid fisherman. Some of his happiest times were in his boat on a lake somewhere, reeling them in!

Don is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Donnie) Boyd and Michele Boyd. Two grand daughters Sydney and Grace. Two grandsons Bradlee and Damien. Sister Debra King. Two brothers David (Sherry) Boyd and Ronald Boyd. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Don is predeceased in death by his parents Mancell and Wava Boyd Sr.  Brothers Mancell Boyd Jr. and Richard Boyd. Sisters Mary-Sue Dumond and Darlene Delong.
