Obituary of Judith Ely Stephens

Judith Ely Stephens (Gunn) from St. Charles, IL, went to be with Jesus on October 16, 2025. She was born on July 30, 1949, in Evanston, IL, to the late Lois Kathryn Gunn and Jan Variek Gunn. She is survived by her husband, Gary, and her twin daughters, Allison and Stefanie, as well as her siblings, Richard, Steve, and Jamie Gunn.

Judy enjoyed playing music and was an integral member of her church choir, bell choir, and early music recorder groups. She loved her Scottish heritage, show tunes, her pets, horses, playing piano, cross-stitch, reading, and collecting dolls. She was a devoted mother, wife, and daughter who was kind to others and had a delightful sense of humor. 

Over the past several years, she suffered from Alzheimer's-presenting dementia, but remained pleasant through her final days.
