Obituary of Frank Eugene Raslich
Frank Eugene Raslich, a cherished father, grandfather, friend, and patriot, passed away at the age of 91 on October 27, 2025, in Flint, Michigan. Born on September 2, 1934, in Beecher, Michigan, Frank's life was a testament to the enduring spirit of love, wisdom, and humor.
Frank dedicated two decades of his life to serving his country as a proud United States Navy Veteran. His unwavering commitment to service continued into his civilian life, where he worked as a Skilled Trades Worker at General Motors until his retirement.
Frank had a contagious zest for life. His love for the thrill of the casino, the challenge of a good crossword puzzle, and the simple joy of scratching off lottery tickets brought excitement to his days. He could often be found in the deer stand or with a fishing pole in his hand. Yet, nothing compared to the time he spent surrounded by his loving family and friends.
While Frank was predeceased by his daughters, Janell Harris, Cathy Cope, Sarah Burns, Karen Raslich, and Deborah Spear, his legacy is carried on by his daughters, Amanda Raslich, Brandi Waller, and Vickie Smith, who will forever cherish the memories of their father. His light also shines on through his adoring grandchildren, Nichole Spear Nelson (married to Michael Nelson) and Kenny Spear (married to Missy Spear). Frank had many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Frank also leaves behind two brothers: Murdock (Bill) Raslich and Bucky Wilson.
In his final years, he was lovingly cared for by his daughter, Amanda, and her partner, Jalen
Joseph.
To those who knew him, Frank was the embodiment of love and laughter. His ability to find
humor in the everyday and his knack for storytelling made every gathering with him a moment to look forward to. His wise counsel was sought after by many, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to be in his company.
Frank Eugene Raslich will be deeply missed, but the love and laughter he shared will continue to resonate for generations to come. To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com Arrangements made with the Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
