Obituary of Randy Lee Miller
Randy Lee Miller lived a quiet life. Born on July 26, 1957, in Saginaw, he remained a lifelong resident of the city he loved. Randy was called to his heavenly home on October 29, 2025, after a difficult battle with lung cancer. His faith in Christ was the cornerstone of his life and inspired him as it came to an end.
Randy is survived by his younger siblings, Daniel (Amy) Miller and Jill (Gerry) Tower as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Janet Miller; sister, Sandee Weber; and nephew, Dillon Miller.
Randy’s devotion to family was especially evident in the loving care he provided for his parents, Art and Janet Miller, during their later years. He was a constant source of support and comfort, tending to their needs with patience and compassion until their passing. This selfless dedication reflected Randy’s deep sense of responsibility and love.
Randy's compassion for God's creatures was evident in the way he opened his heart and home to stray cats, providing them with love and care. Randy found solace and joy in the beauty of God's creation, spending time at the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, where he marveled at the intricate tapestry of nature. He was a pioneer in the cultivation of marijuana for medical purposes. An avid lover of plants, Randy's home was a haven of greenery, reflecting his belief in nurturing nature. He had a special talent for making things grow, and his garden was a testament to his patience and dedication.
Randy's life was a testament to the power of faith and determination. As a Christian, he lived by the words of Philippians 4:13; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. When feeling overwhelmed by life, Randy knew to turn to the power of prayer.
As we celebrate Randy's life, we are reminded of his unwavering faith and the hope he had in Jesus Christ. We take comfort in knowing that Randy is now in the presence of his Savior, free from pain and suffering. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
