With hearts full of love and sadness, the family of Sheryl (Richardson) Jubar announces her passing on November 3, 2025, in Bay City, Michigan. Born on March 6, 1954, to Eli and Nancy Richardson, Sheryl grew up in Bay City—a place she always called home.
Sheryl dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, a career that perfectly reflected her generous heart and nurturing spirit. She approached life with a spirited and feisty energy that made her unforgettable to everyone who knew her.
She was a loving wife to David Jubar, and a devoted mother to Lisa (Jason) Howard, Laura (James) Houck, Bethany (Elder) Bowman, Brandon Jubar (Hanna Ignash), Jeffrey Jubar, and Amanda (Jason) Barber. Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren — Trevor, Tyler, Carter, Alexis, Jaspeech, Nathan, Hayden, Faith, Emma, Ella, and Robert — who were her pride and joy.
Sheryl shared countless memories with her siblings, Wendy Grew, Michelle Fowler, and Kevin Richardson, and she cherished every family gathering, beach trip, and camping weekend they shared together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Nancy Richardson, and her son, Jeffrey Jubar.
Those who knew Sheryl will remember her quick wit, her love of shopping, quilting, sewing, and her unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and her beloved dogs. She had a gift for making ordinary moments special and a laugh that filled every room.
A private family memorial will be held to celebrate her life and the love she gave so freely.
The family wishes to honor Sheryl’s memory in their own way and asks that any gestures of sympathy follow the wishes of the family. Sheryl’s life was full of love, laughter, and care — the legacy of a woman who made every day brighter for those lucky enough to know her.
