Carol Miller

Obituary of Carol Lynn Miller

Carol Lynn Miller, age 68, of Clio Michigan, and formerly of Birch Run, Michigan, passed into the arms of the Lord at home on Sunday, November 16, 2025.  She was born April 9,1957 to the late Rolan and Bernadette (Latham) Woodward.

Carol was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and teacher.  She worked many years as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital, and then afterward when it became Covenant Hospital.  She loved her patients and loved teaching and precepting new nurses. When she was not working, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and cross stitching, however, her greatest joys in life were the memories she made with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her husband, Rod Miller, whom she married on September 11, 1992; her children, Jennifer Miller of Clio Michigan and Brandon (Stephanie) Cummiford of Zenia Ohio; grandchildren, Gabe, Alton, and Audrey Cummiford; brothers, Doug and Don Woodward; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; and many friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Greg Miller; her parents; mother-in-law, Dorothy Miller; and sister-in-law, Marcia Woodward.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.  Complete arrangements will be announced later.   In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to either one of the Colon Cancer or Liver Cancer Societies.  The family would like to thank the hospice nurses from Compassus Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided.  To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com  Arrangements made with the Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
