Obituary of Robert Joseph Boshaw

Robert J. Boshaw

Born in Saginaw, MI January 5, 1937.  Died November 17, 2025 at The Meadows Memory Care Unit in Saginaw, Michigan.

Bob attended school in Saginaw.  He played in bands and was active on the local music scene in the area for many years.  He proudly served in the US Army Military Police for 12 years, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Bob worked in security for General Motors, retiring as Chief of Security for Grey Iron Foundry. 

Fishing was a lifelong passion for Bob.  For many years, he was a licensed commercial captain, and ran Shiloh Fishing Charters out of Oscoda, Michigan.  After retirement, Bob worked as a security detective in Michigan and Virginia.

Bob is survived by his children, Vicki Gutierrez, Robert, Dustin Boshaw, and Sheila Henne-Dambro; siblings, Edward, Michael, Kathleen, Steven Boshaw, Eva (Brad) Mellor; special friend and guardian, Phyllis Gray; along with many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He was predeceased by his sister Patricia, father Earl, and mother Wilma (Esckilsen) Boshaw.
