Obituary of Carl Lloyd Wheeler, Sr

Carl Lloyd Wheeler Sr. “Taz”, age 76, of Midland Michigan, passed away November 21, 2025.  He was born July 24, 1949 in Gladwin Michigan.  He was a U.S. Veteran, having served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970.  He retired from General Motors after 39.5 years of service. He loved being with family, watching westerns on TV, loved cars, attending car shows, and was proud of his dogs.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy; sister, Gladys Miller of Florida; children, Carl Wheeler Jr. of Bellevue MI and Tina Wheeler of Midland MI;  grandchildren, Tim and Kimberly Parsons of Midland, Kyle Riegle of Midland, Walker Wheeler of Saginaw, Austin Wheeler of Bellevue, Kayla Wheeler of Florida, and Becky Wheeler of Ohio; great-grandchildren, Rayne Wheeler, Claire Parsons, Waylon Parsons, Karson Hanks, Kyler Hanks, Braxton Phillips, and Harley Wheeler; adopted granddaughter, Aubury Charzan; and his dogs, Rowdy and Bella Wheeler.  He was predeceased by his parents, Clyde Otto and Clara Mae (VanOver) Wheeler; brothers Richard Wheeler, Harold Wheeler, and Ralph Wheeler; and his dog, Maggie Mae.
