Kari Kosemba

Obituary of Kari Lou Kosemba

Kari Lou Kosemba of Midland, MI peacefully passed away on Friday November 21, 2025 in the comfort of the Toni & Trish House.  Kari was born on April 14,1975 and enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, rock music, any activity involving sunshine or water and going on adventures with her friends and family.

Kari is survived by her children, Son Austin (Michaela) Filcek and Daughter Nadia Kosemba, Grandsons Andrew and Arthur, Brother Brian Goss, Nephew Daniel Goss, Uncle Bruce (Kathy) Goss, Aunt Laurie King, Cousin Marc Rechsteiner, parents Karen and Marc Goss and many other relatives. She leaves her closest circle of loved ones Angie Wiedyk, Tara Anklam, Wayne O’Dell & Liz Musselman who loved, supported and cared for her during her best and most difficult times.

Her last year was made beautiful by visits and trips with the Aunts (Kathy & Laurie), adventures with her closest people Angie, Tara, Wayne and Liz and neighborhood gatherings with the Hills (Stephanie, Justin, Mike and children). Kari battled cancer for 461 days and every day she had a goal to see one more day with her Grandson Andrew.  Her fight gave her one more Christmas, Easter, Birthday, Fourth of July, Halloween all the holidays she loved and was especially blessed to be here for the birth of her second Grandson Arthur. Kari will be deeply missed and a private celebration of life will occur at a later date when the sun is shining warmly and flowers are in bloom.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Toni & Trish House in Auburn Michigan or the Shelter House in Midland Michigan.
