Obituary of Andrew Wesley Stevenson, Jr.
Wes passed away suddenly on November 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Was born on August 3, 1943 to the late Andrew W. Stevenson Sr. and Charlotte A. Stevenson in Bay City MI.
Wes is survived by his daughters Laura (Paul) Navarre, Michelle (Mike) Korth, grandchildren, Tabitha Hobson, Austin Timm, Makenna Timm, Zoe Navarre, Robin Donaldson, Racheal Donaldson and Carrie Hill great-grandchildren, Henrik & Theron Hobson and many more, many nephews, and nieces. Sister-in-Law Rose Stevenson. Along with his family he is mourned by countless friends whose life's he has touched.
He was predeceased by wife Mary (Carol) Stevenson, Son Craig (Craigie) Stevenson, Brothers Bob Stevenson and Bill Stevenson, Great grandson Zander Hobson, Granddaughter Sarah Stevens, Grandson Matthew Hobson.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping at Alcona Park, where he made his rounds visiting all the neighbors. and loved living in Freeport Texas. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Wes was a proud Marine who carried discipline, honor and spirit of his service throughout his life. He was a member of the PLAV, Polish Legion of American Veterans, where he found not just friends but a true second family. Known as a social butterfly, Wes made friends everywhere he went.
A memorial will be held on November 30, 2025 @ 3:00pm at the PLAV post 162.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses and staff at the VA and Mclaren Bay Regional for all their dedication and compassionate care that they have done for Wes.
