Obituary of Timothy Michael McLeod

Timothy “Tim” McLeod, age 52, of Saginaw Michigan, passed away on November 24, 2025.  He was born June 2, 1973 in Saginaw Michigan to Randy and Connie McLeod.  He was a welder by trade and spent many years working in the Port Huron area.  Known for his steady hands and strong work ethic, he took great pride in his craftsmanship and dedication to his work.

He loved the outdoors, and especially treasured fishing in his small aluminum boat with this son Riley, those quiet mornings on the water became some of his most cherished memories.  Tim and Riley also enjoyed camping and kayaking together, especially at Old Orchard Park in Oscoda, where they created many unforgettable father-son moments.

He was also passionate about music.  He loved searching for unique songs on YouTube and sharing them with family and friends, especially with his day who was always excited to hear their opinions on each new discovery.

Tim shared a very special bond with his mother, Connie.  The two often had deep and meaningful conversations, many of them held in the garage where they enjoyed spending time together.  Their connection was strong, warm, and uniquely theirs.

Tim is survived by his father, Randy McLeod of Saginaw; son, Riley McLeod of Port Huron; brother, Troy McLeod of Grand Rapids; special nephew, Trent W. McLeod of Petoskey; and his very special cousin and lifelong friend, Branden Brown.  He also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom held a very special place in his heart.  He is fondly remembered by Sharon (Byron), with whom he shared a meaningful chapter of his life, and who is the mother of his son Riley.  He was preceded in death by his mother Connie McLeod who passed away on June 2, 2025, the morning of Tim’s 52^nd birthday;  and his brother, Trent A.
