Frederick Allen “Fred” Muhl age 82, of Flint Michigan, passed away December 9, 2025.  He was born in Buffalo, New York September 13, 1943 to the late Clarence and Leona Muhl.

He attended Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Illinois, and obtained Masters Degrees at Eastern Michigan University.  Fred taught at Kearsley Community Schools from 1970-1995; served as a Genesee Township Board Trustee from 1980-1995; and also served as the Genesee Township Board Treasurer from 1995-2000.   He was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, and loved classic cars, especially his beloved 1965 Oldsmobile 442.   Two of his favorite pastimes were traveling and spending time with family and friends. 

Fred is survived by Carol, his wife of 57 years; his son William; daughter, Mary (James) Mahon; and granddaughters, Shannon & Olivia. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, December 15, 2025, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint, Michigan.  The family will receive friends at church prior to the service from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.  A Luncheon will immediately follow the service.  To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com  Arrangements made with the Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
