He was born on April 5, 1963, Saginaw, to the late Arthur and Betty Hahn. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. He enjoyed spending time with his children and friends. He worked at Linwood Beach Marina & Campground as a marine technician. His passion was racing and he was the crew chief of the Travis Hahn Racing Team. He was the driver and mechanic of Hahn Racing Team #20 in the 1980’s. He was also a driver and mechanic of the Hahn Snowmobile Racing Team. He also enjoyed dirtbike riding, motorcycle riding, deer hunting, and fishing. 

He is survived by his children, Travis Hahn, Kevin Hahn, and Sommer Hahn; siblings John Hahn, Richard (Joyce) Hahn, Penny (Rick) Colosky-Sevener, Sue (John) Oczepek, sister-in-law, Debra Hahn, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, William Hahn.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, on January 24th, at Zion Lutheran Church, 545 S. 7th St., Freeland. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the family to create a memorial at Tri-City Motor Speedway.
