Age 89
Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at his home, (Hampton Manor of Merrill) on Monday, December 22, 2025. He was 89 years old just a few weeks shy of 90 years old. Hank was born on January 20, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Henry and Dolores (Dobson) Glazier Sr. He was a proud graduate of Scared Heart High School class of 1954. Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy. After discharge he married Leah Ann Robinson on July 5, 1958, she preceded him in death on March 28, 2018. They were just short of 60 years of marriage. Hank was a pipe insulator for 37.5 years with the Heat & Insulators Local 47 in Lansing, Michigan retiring February 1, 1993. His job had him traveling to jobs in many states. Prior to his death Hank was the second oldest living member of Local 47.
Surviving Hank are 7 children and their spouses, Kimberly (Dale) Rohde, Tracy (Cindy) Glazier, Jayne (Kip) Michael, Pearline (Kevin) Corby, Steven (Kelly) Glazier, Grant (Gwen) Glazier and Roy (Linda) Glazier. Grandpa Hank also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, Adam (Jamie) Rohde, Brittany (Jarred) Cline, Nathan (Ericka) Michael, Justin (Tori) Glazier, Jena (DJ) Glazier, Brooke (Kevin) Glazier, Austin (Robin) Glazier, Jasmine (Jordan) LaFrance, Montana (Madison) Glazier, Paige (Andrew) Glazier, Olivia Glazier, Julius (Emma) Glazier, and Elijah Glazier. Hank also leaves behind 20 great grandchildren. Emmett, Maximus and Griffin Cline, Dash, Finn, and Zeke Michael, Trinity, and Raegan Glazier, Ivy, Paislee and Dakota Coughenour, Layla Glazier, Harper and Haven Marty, Evelyn, Dawson and Layton Glazier, Houston LaFrance, Walker Young and Aubrey Glazier. Hank leaves behind a brother John (Josephine) Glazier and a sister Janet Coryell and many nieces and nephews.
Hank was preceded in death by his grandson Dakota Glazier and his sisters Marianne Stewert and Patricia Glazier.
